Restaurant Registration

The Taste of East Aurora will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Registration and Payment Deadline EXTENDED to Friday, August 25, 2023.

The Cost to register is:

  • Chamber Members – $275
  • Non-Members – $300

Please fill out the Taste of EA Restaurant Registration Form (below) and make sure to include your menu items and their cost.

Menu items are due by Friday, Aug. 25 in order to be included in the Taste of East Aurora Map & Menu Guide.

Online payment is due at the time of registration.

All Restaurant Vendors must be located in at least one of the seven communities served by the  Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce OR be a member of the Chamber.

Communities include: Aurora, Colden, East Aurora, Elma, Holland, Marilla, and Wales. 

 

New This Year – Taste of EA Best Macaroni & Cheese Contest!

This year the Taste of EA will be holding a new fun and competitive event – Taste of EA Best Macaroni & Cheese Contest!

Any restaurant vendor may participate.

The Chamber will have five judges who participate in a blind taste test of all macaroni & cheese entries.

To enter the contest:

  • Check of that you would like to participate in the contest on the Restaurant Registration Form.
  • Provide FIVE(5) bite-sized samples of your best macaroni & cheese for our judges on Sept. 9.

The contest will take place at the Chamber tent, in front of the Chamber office at 652 Main Street, at noon on Sept. 9.

All enteries must be brought to the tent by 11:45 a.m.

Winners will get bragging rights for the rest of the Event, a certificate to display at their vendor booth, and plaque for their business!

We recommend that any restaurant that participates offer their macaroni & cheese entry as one of the menu items at their Taste of EA booth. Everyone who does will also be eligible for a Public’s Choice Best Macaroni & Cheese Award that day. 

Equipment & Tent Info

You can provide your own tent set up or you can rent equipment from our preferred equipment supplier Backyard Party Supply.

Available equpement and rental costs:

  • 10×10 Foot Tent with 4 Cement Weights – $170
  • Tent Sides – $15/each (20 feet each/2 sides per tent)
  • Banquet Tables
    • 8-foot table – $10/each
    • 6-foot table – $8/each
  •  Bistro Tables (42-inches high) – $8/each
  • Chairs – $2/each

PLEASE NOTE: The only rental company allowed to set up equipment for Taste is Backyard Party Supply.

All restaurant vendors MUST submit a Health Permit Application to the Erie County Department of Health prior to the Taste of East Aurora. Links to the permit guidelines and the permit form can be found below.

Health Department Permit Info & Links

All restaurant vendors participating in the Taste of East Aurora MUST submit a Temporary Food Permit Application to the Erie County Health Department before the event in order to participate.  The Chamber DOES NOT submit them on the restaurants behalf.

Please make sure to completely fill out the application and submit it directly to the county.
