Chamber’s Taste of East Aurora to be held September 9
Best Mac ‘N Cheese Taste Test Contest added this year with a People’s Choice Award
EAST AURORA, NY (August 28, 2023) – The Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce announces that its 12th Annual Taste of East Aurora will be held Saturday, September 9th, 11am – 5pm on Main Street between Olean Road and Elm/Riley Streets in the Village of East Aurora.
Restaurants will be selling a variety of food and drinks priced from $1.00 to $7.00. All transactions are cash. Food tickets are not sold for this event.
DJ Entertainment will provide music throughout the day.
Attendees to the event will be able to vote for their favorite vendor and/or menu item in the following categories: Best Bite, Best Sweet Treat, Best Healthy Option and Best Vendor Booth presentation.
New this year will be a People’s Choice Best Mac ‘N Cheese award. This award coincides with a new feature this year: The Best of Taste Mac ‘N Cheese Contest – a panel of five judges will taste test samples of some of our vendor’s most unique Mac ‘N Cheese options and then vote on an overall winner. The winner will be awarded a certificate to display at their booth during the event.
The contest will be held at Noon at the Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce tent in front of the Chamber office at 652 Main Street.
All winners will receive plaques to hang in their restaurant.
