Benzinger’s Clothing Care to hold its first Community Coat Challenge this fall
This fall, Benzinger’s Clothing Care is excited to launch its first Community Coat Challenge.
From September 1 through October 31, the goal is to collect 300 new or gently used winter coats for local families. Children’s winter coats in sizes 6 months through youth 14/16 are the greatest need, although all wearable winter coats are welcome.
Benzinger’s is currently inviting local businesses and organizations to participate as collection partners. There is no cost to participate. Partners simply provide a visible place for customers and employees to donate coats. Benzinger’s will provide the promotional materials and complimentary donation pickup throughout the campaign.
To make it a fun community challenge, Benzinger’s will track donations from each participating location to see which organization collects the most coats. Benzinger’s will also recognize collection partners through social media throughout the campaign.
Every donated coat will be professionally cleaned through Benzinger’s Clothing Closet and distributed at no cost through trusted local organizations, helping ensure donations stay within our community and reach local children and families who need them.
