28th Annual Chamber’s Choice & Educators of the Year Awards

Chamber’s Choice Awards Week – June 1 – June 5, 2026

 The Greater East Aurora Chamber of Commerce is again proud to present the annual Chamber’s Choice Student & Educator of the Year Awards. This is the 28th year of this awards program.

The program is designed to acknowledge and honor students who have demonstrated significant development in a variety of aspects of their learning and growth, such as community service, entrepreneurship, citizenship, artistic excellence, and communications, as well as many other diverse areas.

Ten seniors are selected from each of the 4 schools, East Aurora, Holland, and Iroquois
high schools, and the BOCES W.D. Ormsby Educational Center.

The Chamber’s Choice awards are an opportunity for students to be recognized for their positive contributions to their schools, communities, and peer groups.

The program also honors four teachers – one from each school district – for a variety of achievements, including:

• Serving as a positive role model and inspiration to students, colleagues, and the broader community, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Making significant contributions to the field of education, whether through research, advocacy, curriculum development, or other initiatives that advance teaching and learning.
• Being actively involved in the school community and beyond, participating in extracurricular activities, volunteering, or engaging in community outreach efforts.
